The brand Pooja Peshoria, started early 2016, is an occasion wear brand which creates ornate ensembles for women. Focus is on designing original outfits, with a modern yet timeless aspect, using good quality fabrics and only the finest embroidery material . Each cut is thought over and fine-tuned many times, embroidery designs are carefully thought out, drawn and then hand-embroidered with the finest crystals, beads, sequins and more in order to make beautiful and unique pieces.
Due to our constant effort to provide only the best every time, as well as our aim to keep all our clients pleased and satisfied, the brand Pooja Peshoria has received appreciation and praise from many. In 2017 our brand was voted the “Best Debut Designer of 2017” by clients of Pernia’s Pop Up Shop. The brand also designed the winning outfit for Mrs United Nations, Roshni Hassan in 2017.
Pooja Peshoria studied design from NIFT, New Delhi and topped her batch in 2009. During her education at NIFT, she was a finalist at the World of Wearable Art (WOW) show in 2008, in which two of her costumes were selected. The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) sponsored her trip to the show in New Zealand and also gave a cash prize. Pooja was also the first runner-up at the ‘Wills Lifestyle Debut Designer Competition’ in 2009 which was a nationwide competition recognising best graduating talent in Fashion Design.
Before launching the brand, Pooja headed Design and International Marketing at ‘Garb & Guise’ which manufactures and exports fine quality digitally printed Cashmere Shawls. Prior to this, she worked as a wardrobe advisor at ‘Kitsch’ in DLF Emporio which is a Multi designer store retailing luxury brands, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Jean Paul Gaultier to name a few.
